Health Risks

When it comes to the topic of health dangers related to the deployment of 5G, there is a lot of debate. However, the fact is that there are no safety studies that have been done to prove that 5G is safe for people, animals, or the planet. Furthermore, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) that is part of the World Health Organization (WHO) classified Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields as a Group 2B Possible Carcinogen to humans back in 2013.

Despite the fact that the WHO had already considered existing electromagnetic fields and frequencies to be potential carcinogens in 2013, telecom decided to still bring higher power, untested, and unstudied 5G wireless radiation frequencies to market without any consideration for public health and safety. The biological impacts associated with this technology are extremely concerning, since there are no studies that prove it is safe and because 5G infrastructure will be placed very close to homes, schools and in public spaces.

But, don’t take our word for it.  Listen to the Vice President of CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association), Mr. Brad Gillen, in this video. He clearly states that there are no industry backed studies and that telecom has not spent any money to make sure this technology is safe. Mr. Gillen goes on to say that telecom relies on what the scientists tell them. If the scientists Mr. Gillen relied on were independently funded, then telecom would not be rolling out 5G due to the health risks.

Another factor to keep in mind is that the FCC is the government agency that is currently pushing the 5G wireless rollout forward, while also failing to update their public guidelines for wireless radiation exposure for the past 24 years. In fact, in April 2020, the FCC decided that instead of updating the public exposure guidelines, they would just keep the existing guidelines based on 2G technology from 1996 and actually extend those same outdated guidelines to include public exposure levels to 5G frequencies without any scientific backing.  Not surprisingly, the FCC Chairman, Ajit Pai, used to be a lawyer for Verizon. When considering all of this information all together, it’s evident that the FCC has actually been protecting the industry that it is supposed to regulate instead of protecting the public health and safety.

Please refer to our library of information below regarding the health risks associated with 5G technology and wireless radiation. Due to the potential dangers surrounding this technology, doctors and scientists from around the world are calling for a stop to the deployment of 5G.
