Would you want to live near the 6 macrocell towers above? (left)

Or, would you like living in a home where telecom decides to install a 5G cell on top of a pole close to the bedroom window where your child sleeps? (right)

Not for you? You’re not the only one who feels that way. In the article “Cell Towers, Antennas Problematic for Buyers”, The National Association of Realtors refers to the survey done by  the National Institute for Science, Law & Public Policy (NISLAPP).  NISLAPP found that 79% of 1,000 people surveyed said they would not live near a cell tower.

Another article from Electromagnetic Health shares more important details about the NISLAPP survey, including a startling statistic in which 57% of the people surveyed said that they experienced cognitive effects from radiation emitted by devices like cell phones, smart meters or routers.  In the same survey, 63% of people also experienced physical effects from devices or cell towers near their homes.  What’s going to happen when each telecom provider puts 5G cells up in front of every 2 to 10 homes across the US?

What’s more disturbing is that telecom has not spent any money on independent research regarding the biological effects of 5G wireless technology. In this video, Senator Blumenthal concludes at a Senate Hearing in 2019 that “we’re flying blind here so far as health and safety is concerned” in relation to the deployment of 5G wireless.

The FCC is supposed to be a regulatory agency that is tasked to regulate communications while also protecting public safety and yet, they do the exact opposite. However, this isn’t surprising when you learn that Ajit Pai, the Chairman of the FCC, used to be a lawyer for Verizon.

What can you do?

Join our email list to stay informed about what is happening in Illinois and in our communities. To protect our property values, we all need to get involved with what is happening in our respective towns and work together to facilitate the legislative change that is needed at both the state and local levels. To make that happen, we must keep growing our group members here in Illinois. If enough people come together and make their voices heard, we believe our government officials will support us by putting laws into place that will protect us.

Click here to read the Statements of Support we’ve already received from elected officials and candidates. Since the 5G rollout is a bipartisan issue, we are continuing to reach out to candidates in both parties to request a statement regarding the 5G wireless rollout. They will be posted as they are received.
